Zweigelt Classique is a strong wine that nevertheless presents the freshness that is so typical for Zweigelt wines. If you like our Zweigelt Classique more intense, you should drink it immediately. Otherwise enjoy it in the course of the next five years.
Zweigelt Classique grows, just like the fruity Zweigelt, on loamy gravel. After the harvest it matures in used Barrique-barrels for 12 months.
Zweigelt Classique 2010 shows a medium ruby garnet colour.
On the nose you can expect subtle aromas of berries and dark cherries.
The wine has a powerful palate. It has a smooth finish with blackberries in the aftertaste.

Zweigelt Classique and beef - a 'dream team'. This wine goes extremely well with steaks or beef-schnitzel. Furthermore it can be paired with intensively spiced chicken or pork seared in a wok.
