Since René Gabriel often attaches a certain 'Masseto'-affinity to Péby Faugères, Sebastian Schwander organised an event: A tasting of different vintages of Péby Faugères and Masseto, divided into five flights, each with a pirate included.

Our Merlot 2009 was paired with the 2004 and 2005 vintages and proudly received 19 of 20 points. But we are convinced that this wine has a longer endurance and can be drunk at least until 2020.
