The wines which participated at the Grand Prix tasting have been judged by well-known sommeliers and wine experts by means of a blind tasting. Additionally to the 'Grand Prix d'Excellence – Red Wine of the Year', we have also received the awards 'Grand Prix d'Honneur' for Admiral 2007 and 'Grand Prix' for Rosso e Nero 2007.

"This is the first time we participated at the Hamburg wine show and we are very satisfied with the feedback we received for our wines. We have been able to present our range to a wide audience of private wine fans as well as professional visitors from foodservices and distributors," explains winemaker René Pöckl.

The awards received in Hamburg reconfirm that we are on the right track. The many positive remarks from the visitors confirm that powerful wines are very appreciated and longevity is absolutely desired, despite the current trends towards 'easy drinking' wines.
