Many wish to have it, but only a few - a handpicked chosen
few - get it (in single bottles): the Mystique, Josef Pöckl's
"ultima ratio" of his red-wine art. Only a few hundred
bottles of this wine come to the market, and that only in
good wine years. It is to a certain extent a heightening of
the "Admiral" and something of an answer to his
son's successful Rêve.
Josef Pöckl remains silent about the wine. The Mystique
speaks for itself. As in a blind tasting, for example, it
was placed above considerably more expensive wines, such as
a 1996 Lynch Bages.
