Interest in our business - and above all in our wines - has
risen enormously in recent years. We have archived the most
important factors of interest for rereading.

Falstaff-Magazine: Vintner of the Year 2004
Josef Pöckl was awarded the title "Vintner
of the Year 2004" by the
Falstaff-Magazine. More details in the Falstaff-Magazine 03/2004 (only in
german)
There is almost always a great deal of activity at our wine estate
- in the vineyards, in the cellar and in sales. (Appointment
by telephone or e-mail absolutely necessary). And sometimes our activities
are so remarkable that they find their way into the media.
A new chapter (Falstaff 6/2001 edition)
The cuvée category brought the following result at
the top: the wine, which left all the others behind at a respectable
distance - and more than deserved the title of "1st Falstaff
Winner" - was the Rêve de Jeunesse 20, a wine that
opened a new chapter in the history of Austrian red wine,
from the Pöckl family from Monchhof.
Gourmet Trophy 2000
The distinction, awarded annually by A LA CARTE magazine
for the best local vintner, went to the Josef Pöckl wine
estate.
Three times under the first ten (Falstaff, 1999)
A Pöckl celebration: with the "Rêve de Jeunesse
1997" we presented the winner, and with the Admiral 1997
and Rosso e Nero 1997 we occupied two further top places in
the Falstaff assessment.
The Man in Red (News 47/99)
The weekly magazine "News" placed our wine estate
right at the top in its annual ranking and declared us to
be the best producer of red wine.
Three Grapes (Gault Millau, 1999)
Only two wine estates in Austria have been awarded the highest
Three Grapes distinction by Gault Millau. One of them: the
Pöckl wine estate. |
